Non-Homemade Product

Types of processed food

- Must not be meat food or food made from any type of meat such as sausage, ham, pork slices, etc.
- Must not be frozen food that must maintain its temperature. or keep it cold Because it cannot be sent with DHL.
- Cow's milk or goat's milk, which is powder and fresh milk Must have a USDA Import Veterinary Permit.
- Processed fish or seafood, such as canned fish or fish snacks If it is not made from catfish or is not a fish in the Siluriformes fish family, it can be shipped to America. in the right amount and sent for personal consumption only*

 

Wrapping or packaging (Packaging)

It must be sealed. Or close the vacuum (Vacuum packaging) tightly so that there will be no leakage of food during delivery.

 

Food labels (Label)

There must be a label with important information in English as follows.
- Product name
- Name and address of manufacturer (Manufacturer name & address)
- Ingredients
- Expiry Date
- Country of Origin

Tips: It is recommended to scan food labels. and print it and attach it to the invoice to speed up customs inspection on the American side.

 

Details of export of non-homemade processed food

- No export license required
- No need to complete departure formalities.
- Volume of processed food exports Non-Homemade: If sent to a person (Not for sale) Delivered in "appropriate quantities" for consumption per person. (At the discretion of customs) if it is specified that it is sent for trade. Can send an unlimited amount
- Specifying Value: Actual value must be specified. If the value exceeds USD800, Prior notice must be made before shipping.
